How to get individual light bulbs into a wall?
I’ve been doing a little renovation on my room and the last step I want to do is paint a relatively large city skyline on my wall. I thought it would be a neat idea to install some sort of small light bulb into a selection of windows on the buildings so at night the city could look “lit up” while serving the double purpose of lighting my room.
Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? Or if there is any special type of bulb I should get? I’m looking for something VERY small so it wouldn’t be extremely noticeable during daylight.
I’m also not looking for something too florescent or blinding. I don’t want the lights to be intended for reading or something like that. I want sort of a christmas light effect, something dim but warming to the room.
Any ideas?

Instead of installing in the wall, make your skyline of plywood or chipboard, install the lights, and hang it on the wall.
