How can I build a cheap, portable background stand?
I'm needing to construct some kind of background stand to hold my muslins for mobile shoots; I usually just work with natural scenery but I've got a lot of people asking for backdrops (for headshots, etc.). I don't have a lot of money to spend on this project but I'd like to figure out a way to make something that looks a little better than the pvc route (which seems like it'd also be too heavy to quickly set up and tear down for what I need)... any suggestions out there?
